The Romans Road

The Romans Road * #1: Everyone has sinned * Romans 3:23 NLT “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” * That means: We all need forgiveness. * The Romans Road * #2: Sin has a consequence * Romans 6:23a NLT “For the wages of sin is death…” *That means: Sin separates us from God. * The Romans Road * #3: God offers a gift * Romans 6:23b NLT “…but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” * That means: God gives life through Jesus. * The Romans Road * #4: Jesus died for us * Romans 5:8 NLT “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” * That means: Jesus took our place. * The Romans Road * #5: We respond by faith * Romans 10:9 NLT “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” * That means: Believe and confess. * The Romans Road * #6: Salvation is for everyone who believes * Romans 10:13 NLT “For ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’” * That means: Anyone can come to God! *

 

Galatians 5:22-26
